What is Springboard’s Summer School?
Springboard’s Summer School programme is for young people aged 16 and over to gain an essential learning experience which provides training and practical work experience that will lead on to paid employment, apprenticeships or continuing to be inspired into higher or further education. It aims to connect enthusiastic school, college and university leavers, including those who are unsure of their next steps into a career, with Springboards Business Partners in the Hospitality, Leisure & Tourism industry.
Where does it take place?
The 2011 programme will be taking place in 5 cities across the UK:
- London
- Cardiff
- Birmingham
- Liverpool
- Manchester

The Stepping Stones
To take part in Springboard’s Summer School there are various steps to be undertaken to ensure the programme is successful for all involved.
The Steps are:
- Applying on-line
- Attending the Recruitment Day
- Undertaking training
- Completing the placement weeks

Springboard’s Summer School Alumni
Once the young people successfully complete the programme they become part of our alumni. Here are a few words from some of them:
